Saturday, March 18, 2006 it's 2047h on a friday night.
just woke up from my 3 hour nap.
refreshed from a nice warm bathe.
wonder if i am still jet lagged.
it's 6 degrees outside now.
went to the harbour for a short walk today. i wished you were walking beside me, holding my hand, enjoying the gorgeous view. you'd love the view, i just know it. then i went downtown to eat crepes @ crepe cafe for lunch. took the breakfast special which consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages and an apple sauce crepe. wished you were sitting beside me. wondered what you'd order and what you would say about my over-salty sausages & soft crepes. i miss marche crepes! nothing beats it, or maybe its the company. did some shopping. i think i spent CND$250 on two guess wallets, a vest, a tshirt, a gloss and eye shadow. would have dragged you into levis to buy a pair of jeans if you were here. bet you'd be bored by my shopping but you can carry my bags cos you are sweet. then i went rocky mountain to smell the chocolates and decided to get a scoop of chocolate chip mint ice cream. the scooper guy was cute and he let me try their apple flavoured ice cream. they have chocolate banana, i want! can imagine sharing ice cream with you. making you eat more mouths even tho you don't want to. wanted to try godiva hot chocolate but gave it a skip today. some other time. no hurry, i have 2 weeks more. i know you would have said "want then buy lah!" watched food network. can see you watching it beside me. went to take a nap. can see you sleeping beside me. miss your warmth.
hope you missed me when you went to see Queen of England.-
need to withdraw money soon. been thinking of souveniors for the people back in singapore. i love vancouver. and i never feel like i don't fit in cos there's so many asians, especially koreans around. and everything is in squares, which means you almost will never get lost. pretty cools. and the life is slower. it's just so different from singapore. maybe i'll study here if possible. cos i can major in finance and psychology. now that would be perfect! see my choices first.
and you know, there's something in the air of vancouver that makes you spend like crazy. & i hate this taxes thing here. their prices are all before tax! clothes have 14% tax and food is 7%, so a CND$80 jacket might actually cost you CND$100. that's one thing i miss about singapore. BUT they know its a woman's perogative to change her mind so they allow returns, which is really cool. im thinking of returning my zara top and the tshirt i bought today. oh wells, still have time. slowly think :)
With an honest heart and just a little faith,
Baby, time will tell the tale.
